Creative Mile is the name of the new Brentford Art Trail, an annual event aimed at shining a light on the wealth of artists who live and work in Brentford, and some of the many independent and idiosyncratic venues which support them.

We created the name and accompanying tone of voice which really celebrates both the creators and also the place itself, particularly focusing on the river.

For the visual identity and branding we designed a playful handwritten logomark with reference to the river, and combined it with a striking yellow and black brand colour palette and bold impactful typography.

The yellow and black brand colour palette establishes such a strong visual presence that we were able to create effective signage and wwayfinding markers, flags and banners with minimal information but maximum impact and recognition.
