Destination Coventry
I have to admit that I have never really been particularly drawn towards visiting Coventry…but all that has changed.
Massively!
Now I just can’t wait to get up there for a nose around.
And that’s all down to 2 amazing looking installations from two of my absolute favourite creatives, the inimitable Morag Myerscough, and the ridiculously talented, punk rock mosaicist Carrie Reichardt.
Morag Myerscough has been busy shining her trademark saturated colours on the lucky shoppers and pedestrians making their way through Hertford Street, Coventry, through her dazzling “Endless Ribbon Connecting Us” installation.
Meanwhile, Carrie Reichardt has been working as part of the Coventry City of Culture on “Ska’d for life” an amazing mosaic at Pool Meadow Bus Station celebrating the city’s 2-tone musical heritage.
